Technical translation

A technical translation is when specific knowledge is required for translation in a certain subject area. This is a very wide ranging area which is why internally, we have divided scientific translation into oil and gas translation, engineering and construction and medical translation. Even so, we still have a "technical" translation area to deal with texts from other industries that require specialized knowledge.

Technical translation clients come from a wide range of industries and include engineering companies, beverage and food equipment manufacturers as well as pharmaceutical companies. Their translation projects cover documents such as proposals, contracts, manuals, brochures and Brazilian or international standards.

This is why we look not just for the translation abilities in the translators involved in each project but also their specific knowledge in translating each document. Therefore, when translating a text from the pharmaceutical industry, the translators involved must also have the necessary experience/qualifications to meet project requirements.
